The 50^th Speech Day was held on 3^rd December 2022. Our school supervisor Dr Alice Yuk, BBS, JP kick started the ceremony with an opening speech, commending everyone’s efforts in overcoming difficulties brought by the pandemic. This year, we were graced by the presence of our Guest of Honour, Dr. Lam Ka On, Honorary Clinical Associate Professor, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong. As an alumnus, Dr. Lam encouraged our graduates to uphold the virtues of being a LAMWOOER, and to humbly learn from people from all walks of life while being ready and willing to serve. Following the presentation of certificates to our graduates, our Principal Mr. Cheng Hong Yung reported on our school’s achievements in the year 2021-2022. As the highlight of the presentation of scholarships, 6E Au Pui Yan, the first Lamwooer scoring a perfect 5** across seven subjects in HKDSE, was awarded Dr. Lam Chik Suen Most Distinguished Scholar of the Year. Graduate representatives then delivered their Vote of Thanks and expressed their gratitude to their teachers and parents for their unfailing guidance and support. The ceremony came to a final note with performances from the school’s Orchestra and Mixed Voice Choir.
