On 6 May, F.5 X2 BAFS and History students embarked on an insightful visit to the KMB Kowloon Bay Depot, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at Hong Kong’s vital public transport infrastructure.
The experience featured a comprehensive bus tour that followed the vehicle’s "daily life"—from routine maintenance and automated washing to post-service logistics. Beyond the mechanical, students attended an engaging seminar on KMB’s development. They explored how the company’s evolving bus routes have historically shaped Hong Kong’s urban landscape, supported the rise of new towns, and integrated modern sustainable business practices.
The visit also highlighted KMB’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, specifically its initiatives in green energy and community inclusivity. To cap off the day, students were introduced to various professional roles within the company, offering fresh inspiration for their own future career paths.
