Over three Wednesday afterschool (5/11, 12/11, 19/11), the DTL room transformed into a hub of digital fabrication! Students gathered to turn their digital ideas into physical reality during our hands-on Laser Cutting Workshop. Participants progressively built their engineering and design skills across three amazing projects:
-
Custom Key Tags: Students learned the basics of laser cutting and engraving to make personalized key plates.
-
Jigsaw Puzzles: Participants made interlocking wooden puzzle pieces with their custom images. This task required students to work with exact precision to map out and cut their puzzle pieces.
-
LED Display Signs: Students made laser engraved clear acrylic and paired it with electronic bases to create vibrant, glowing neon-style signs.
Students proudly took all their personalized creations home for free. We are thrilled by their creativity and can't wait to see what our budding makers build next!
