To celebrate the Lantern Festival, a riddle guessing and tangyuan tasting event was organised by Moral and Civic Education Section, Chinese Promotion Team, Mathematics Department and English Award Scheme, which proved to be an engaging and lively activity.
During lunchtime on 3 March, students flocked to the ministage, pitting their wits to solve English and Mathematics riddles with different levels of difficulty. School principal and teachers also joined in the fun, further fostering a spirit of camaraderie and enthusiasm that bridged the usual boundaries of classroom learning.
Alongside the riddle guessing, students are also entitled to enjoying the tangyuan, a traditional food that Chinese people eat during the Lantern Festival. Students eagerly sampled the sweet dumplings and engaged in friendly exchanges, enhancing their understanding of Chinese culture.
The collaboration among various sections and departments highlighted the event’s success in promoting not just academic skills, but also teamwork and collaboration. Laughter and cheers filled the air, making it a memorable occasion for all involved, and reinforcing the importance of learning in a fun and interactive environment.
