
During the second term, our students actively participated in various STEAM events across three distinct levels.
STEAM for All
1. Teen TechCreator Workshop
All Form 2 students participated in this workshop focusing on digital intelligence, game design, and design thinking. Each group successfully designed their own innovative and creative games. This workshop was organized by the Hong Kong Christian Service and supported by the Community Chest.
2. STEAM Fun Day (Theme: Marine Conservation and Robotics)
All Form 1 students took part in our STEAM Fun Day with the theme "Marine Conservation and Robotics." Through hands-on activities, students learned to use electronics and programming to create marine debris classifiers. They also learned to assemble and code LEGO robots designed to rescue sea turtles. This event was sponsored by the Innovation and Technology Commission.
3. STEAM Form Assemblies
Students from Forms 1, 2, and 4 attended our STEAM Form Assemblies. We invited Ms. Winnie Yeung, Director of Winstars Enterprise HK Limited, to share her valuable experience in STEAM and entrepreneurship. Our alumnus Mr. Jethro Tse also shared insights from his scientific research conducted at Yale University. Additionally, current students Cheung Yau Pok Harry (4B) and Lee Yan Sin (4E) presented their experiences participating in various STEAM activities and competitions.
STEAM for the Interested
During the second term, our STEAM team organized the following specialized courses for interested students:
1. Programming Enrichment Course (Python)
2. Robotics Training Course (ArtecRobo, in collaboration with Winstars Enterprise HK Limited)
3. Robotics Training Course (LEGO Robotics)
4. Biosensor with Python Course
5. AI Greeny Course
6. Teen TechCreator Course for Digital Game Design (organized by the Hong Kong Christian Service and supported by the Community Chest)
STEAM for the Elite
1. HKOI Training Camp 2025
Cheung Chun To (5E) was selected to participate in the HKOI Training Camp 2025 organized in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The training camp included team building activities and intensive training in algorithm design and programming.
2. AI Fellowship (Powered by Bodley Academy)
Cheung Yau Pok Harry (4B) and Lo Yin Kwan (4E) were selected to participate in the AI Fellowship powered by Bodley Academy. This accelerated AI program enabled students to build AI-powered projects using tools employed by Google and OpenAI.
