On June 21, one day after World Refugee Day, two F.5 students participated in the Refugee Run simulation program by Crossroads Foundation Hong Kong. The program highlighted global issues such as wars, conflicts and disasters, fostering empathy and awareness among participants. Students faced challenges like simulated attacks, hunger, and life in a refugee camp, and gained profound insights into the struggles of displaced individuals and global need. This learning experience not only deepened students' understanding of the world around them but also motivated them to advocate for positive change and support communities in need.
