On June 27th, a group of F.4 and F.5 history students visited the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Museum. Through the study of precious historical artifacts, the students gained a comprehensive understanding of the life and legacy of Dr. Sun, a revolutionary forerunner of modern China and an epoch-making figure in turning China from a monarchy into a republic. They also learned about Hong Kong's vital role in the reform movements and revolutionary activities in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The museum visit provided an enriching educational experience for the students, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of the close historical and cultural connections between Hong Kong and China. The visit also cultivated a sense of nationhood and national identity within the students.
