C. Activities Organised in 2005-2006

• September
1. Economics Simulation Exercise (MESE) program - A program organized by Junior Achievement Hong Kong for the students to simulate the introduction of a virtual product into the market. A mentor from the external business institution was invited as their tutor.
2. 2 teams from our BS class (out of 100 teams from other secondary schools and universities) won the first round of MESE competition on 21st Oct.
3. The 2 teams successfully enter the MESE second round competition from February to April.
• December
1. Inter-school Learning Session: 16 F7 students from DMHC Siu Ming Catholic Secondary School (Siu Ming) together with 24 F7 LW students had lessons together in Lamwoo.
2. Field visit to Hong Kong Yakult Co Ltd to understand the importance of quality control to the impact on production management
• January 2006
1. Field visit to Labor Tribunal to understand the resolution of labor disputes and industrial relations in Hong Kong.
2. Chinese New Year Fair: 40 students from 6F and 6H participated in the New Year Market Fair in Kwai Fong. This program has been running for 6 years. The main reason to carry out this project is that students can be able to gain the experience of operating a small business. The students have made a profit of $4,600.
• March
1. Six F4 students are chosen to participate in the competition in relation to financial knowledge of secondary school students (<財智雙全>中學生理財通識終極鬥) organized by RTHK.
• April
1. Inter-school Learning Session: 31 F6 students from LW together with other F6 students of DMHC Siu Ming Catholic Secondary School had lessons together in Siu Ming.
