In September 2000, the Quality Education Fund made it possible for the school to increase the number of wind instrument training classes. The strengthening of interest and techniques in wind instruments thus facilitated our formation of the Symphonic Band in May 2001, furnishing a chance for our students to acquire self-confidence and a sense of achievement.
The Band consists of 60 members from Form 1 to Form 6. Under the conductorship of Mr. Chiu Kai Keung, the Band has grown so quickly that it was invited to perform in Kwai Tsing Theatre in Nov. and Dec. 2001 and had its small concert at school in July 2002. After that the band had participated many competitions and performance. In addition, the band has taken part in making CDs "The First Tunes" and "35th Anniversary", and the 35th Anniversary Concert.
