香港現正進入流行性感冒高峰期，本校謹促請　貴家長加強預防措施，提醒　貴子弟提高警覺，保持良好個人及環境衛生，以防感染流行性感冒。本校暫不要求學生在每天上課前量度體溫，唯請　貴家長提醒　貴子弟注意以下事項：

1. 如有流感病徵時，應佩戴口罩及立即求醫;
2. 學生應避免上學，留在家中休息；
3. 家長應為子女每天量度體?及;
4. 遵守以下的預防措施:
   維持良好的個人衛生，打噴嚏及咳嗽後應洗手:
   盡量關掉空調及打開窗戶以保持空氣流通。
5. 如需為子女告病假，請向校方說明病況。

本校亦已採取以下一系列的預防措施：

1. 全校暫停空氣調節，提醒學生打開課室門窗，保持空氣流通；
2. 在洗手間設鹼液供學生清洗雙手；
3. 工友定期用稀釋漂水清潔班房及校舍，進行消毒；
4. 學生若有呼吸道疾病的病徵，如發燒、咳嗽或流鼻水，教師會請該學生離開課室，前往醫療室，由本校職員照料。如有需要，本校會聯絡家長將學生接返；
5. 密切注意學生缺席的情況，向請病假的學生查明病因。

本校將根據事態的發展，考慮本校所處社區的情況，隨時檢討，採取相應的措施。

As Hong Kong has entered the influenza season, we would like to remind you to be alert and help your children to maintain good personal and environmental hygiene . Students are not required to check temperature before going to school for the time being, but students and their family members are advised to pay heed to the following:

1. If any students develop flu symptoms, they should wear face masks and consult doctors promptly;
2. They should take a rest at home and refrain from going to school as advised by their doctor;
3. Parents should record the body temperature of their children every day and;
4. The following measures should be closely observed:
   Maintain good personal hygiene and wash hands after sneezing or coughing;
   Maintain good ventilation by keeping the windows open and turning off the air-conditioning as far as possible.
5. Parents are urged to report to school details of illness when helping their children to take sick leave.

Moreover, the school has implemented the following initiatives:

1. Stop the use of air-conditioners and remind students to open windows and doors of classrooms so as to improve ventilation;
2. Place liquid soap in washrooms for hand washing;
3. Clean classrooms and school campus with diluted household bleach regularly after school;
4. Send students to the medical room to be taken care by staff if they are found to have symptoms of having influenza such as fever, sneezing or coughing, and request parents to pick them up if necessary;
5. Pay attention to students' attendance and inquire about the reasons for sick leave.

We will continue to pay close attention to the issue, consider the situation of our community and take proper measures.
