'IMO Preliminary Selection Contest ¡V Hong Kong 2008' was successfully held on 1 June 2008. There are Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards to those students with outstanding performance.

Follow-on training programmes will be provided for the high-achieving students in the contest. The students with outstanding performance in such training will be selected to represent Hong Kong to take part in the 50th IMO in Germany in July 2009.
